Meet Reggie

Reggie is a rather extraordinary raptor.

He has a curious mind, a fondness for adventure and a habit of turning up where dinosaurs are least expected. From festivals and family events to community celebrations and special appearances, Reggie loves meeting people, making new friends and discovering what adventures might be waiting around the corner.

And yes, he does have quite a lot to say about dinosaurs.

The story

Nobody is quite sure where Reggie came from.
What we do know is that he appeared in Sussex with an impressive appetite for adventure and an even more impressive collection of stories. Since then, he has been exploring the modern world, meeting people and discovering that being a dinosaur in the 21st century can be surprisingly complicated.
Reggie is based in Worthing, West Sussex, but his adventures are not confined to home. Wherever there are people to meet, places to explore and a good story to be told, there is always a chance that Reggie might be nearby.
His adventures are recorded here, along with dinosaur discoveries, curious encounters, photographs, stories and the occasional mystery.

What does a raptor actually do all day?

Quite a lot, as it turns out.
Reggie can be found appearing at public events, community celebrations, festivals, family days and special occasions. Sometimes he is there to entertain. Sometimes he is there to investigate. Sometimes he simply wants to know what everyone else is doing.
Every appearance is a little different.
Reggie might meet hundreds of people in an afternoon, pose for photographs, make new friends, investigate something suspicious or discover something he has never encountered before.
You never quite know what will happen when Reggie arrives.

More than just a dinosaur

Reggie is built around three things: curiosity, imagination and fun.
Dinosaurs have fascinated people for generations, and Reggie gives that fascination a character people can actually meet. Through stories, appearances, photographs and adventures, he brings a little prehistoric imagination into the modern world.
There might be a dinosaur fact along the way.
There might even be a lesson.
But above all, Reggie believes that learning should be interesting, adventures should be shared and there is always room for a little mischief.

From Worthing and across Sussex, Reggie is beginning to make his mark.
He has already discovered that humans are a remarkably interesting species. They take an extraordinary number of photographs, ask some very strange questions and seem particularly fascinated by dinosaurs.

Reggie doesn’t mind.
He rather enjoys the attention.

Whether appearing at a major event, visiting a local community or simply meeting people along the way, every outing becomes part of Reggie’s growing collection of adventures.
